Tuff Gang release new track

The crew had not recorded a track together for over two years, but they have again come together to release their newest track titled Ntibagira Isoni loosely translated as “They are shameless”.

The Tuff Gang lyrics are typical to their usual coded language, directly pampering themselves with praises in all corners, and at the same time looking to take a diss at other so called self-proclaimed kings of hip hop.

Composed of Jay Polly, Bulldog, Fireman and Green-P, Tuff Gangs is one of the best hip hop crews ever to grace the music scene in Rwanda. They have certainly made a mark, releasing track after track which propelled them to great heights in the late 2000’s. They have also ventured separately, with each trying to record songs individually.

In 2012, both Bulldog and Fireman were each nominated in Primus Guma Guma Super Star, Rwanda’s sole and biggest singing competition amongst already established music stars.

The previous year Jay Polly had been nominated in the same competition, only to be narrowly edged out by King James in the final.

Ntibagira Isoni is the first song the Tuff Gang has released since 2011 when their hit song Ikizibiti hit the airwaves.
