RSE records a weak performance


This week the RSE market activity was lower compared to the previous week’s trading session. The total turnover for this week was Rwf 173,544,000 from 788,700 BoK shares and 23,000 Bralirwa shares traded in thirty one deals compared to the last week’s trading session which recorded a total turnover of Rwf 371,324,200 from 233,400 BoK shares and 394,900 Bralirwa shares traded in twenty seven deals.


Today, the RSE share index (RSI) remained unchanged compared to the previous trading session of 219.50 as the market was quiet today with no trades recorded in comparison to 5,200 BoK shares and 16,700 Bralirwa shares worth Rwf 14,728,300 recorded the previous day.


BoK and Bralirwa shares prices remained unchanged from yesterday’s closing prices of Rwf 200 and Rwf 827 respectively. KCB shares last transacted at Rwf 175 while NMG and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf 1,200 and Rwf 175 respectively.


At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 386,500 BoK shares between Rwf 200-210 and no outstanding bids. On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 190,500 shares between Rwf 827-890 and no outstanding bids.


On KCB counter; there were outstanding bids of 12,400 shares between Rwf 175-180 and no outstanding offers. On NMG counter; there was an outstanding bid of 1,000 shares at Rwf 1,200 and no outstanding offers.
